The Emerge Network

Emerging Leaders, Emerging Nations

Thanks to everyone who came to participate in "Redeem the Airwaves 3.0: Upload!" Now the event is over and we are already making plans to outdo it next year so how about some feedback. What did you like/dislike? How can we improve it next year? Thanks for all comments!

I posted this on a thread i started...

1. Rules and Ethics in the internet. Christians should know some rules like: DO NOT SPAM. Christians who supported Eddie Villanueva got a flak from some people during the previous presidential election campaign. Those Christians were spamming.

2. Domain names. Acquiring domain names especially Bible related ones for protection.

Jesus.com is currently directed to a gay Christian church, and we Christians should act and start to position ourselves ahead. It would have been great if Sex.com was owned by a Christian, and on the site is a Bible-based teaching about sex.

Christians should acquire Bible related domain names. I have Bethel.asia* and Gentiles.info.

*.asia is a new domain extension soley for Asia

This is my first RTA conference and I admit I have nothing there that I dislike.Maybe since its a also a conference,an update of what did we accomplish so far or if we wrote a resolution not only from the current conference but also from the past two.

It was my first time to attend this conference and I'm very glad to say that I really found it fun (plus, I brought two of my close friends who are also my blockmates in school, they also liked the conference). It was very informative and I could apply the things I learned in my course in school(I am taking up Communication Arts in Lasalle; and I took up the Video Track in the conference). I also liked how people in the crew and the speakers are very accommodating and warm--and the worship pre-lecture hours are oh so empowering.

But I am to say that there something that I would like to share, we were not informed with the right time of arrival to the conference, so the result was that we got to the venue in the first day at 8am, but then really, the first day was to start at 6pm. Actually, that's just about it, everything else was a-ok :)
