Hi Ms. Elsie, if I may bring up...I feel spiritually down sometimes whenever I'm with the youth of the church I'm affiliated. The very ones who should be spiritually mature are the ones who start worldly talk(i.e. teasing). It isn't a good testimony to the younger youth. What can I do?

Hello Gandacious Arlene,
I just responded to a discussion on balancing technicality and spirituality on the worship lifestyle group. You may want to check it out and consider posting your comment here in that discussion.
God bless.

hey! i listened to one of misty edward's preachings.. ung draw near to kiss.. and i've been listening to her song "Let me love You more".. so powerful! She said that worship also means abandonment! Giving your all to your Maker.. to the Lover of your soul.. JESUS IS STIRRED, NOT BY THE MUSIC WE PLAY NOR THE SONG WE SING.. BUT BY THE LOVESICK HEART".. Worship goes beyond music.. it's a lifestyle! and there will come a time when everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and only those who are lovesick will be able to sing the song of the Lamb.. who will take no offense on what is happening.. terrifying but great! and we will still sing His song and declare: "great and marvelous are Your deeds, Lord.. just and true are your ways!"

Let me love You more Lord! :)

we are inlove with a Man.. with my Maker..

Dear Lowata,
Thanks for the update. I am blessed to know that your time in Leadership in missions class has benefited you in your ministry there where you are. I pray that God will continue to use you to influence others and especially the leaders of COG there to be passionate for world missions.
God bless.

Hi Mam Elsie! I am heading the CE department in our church and assistant pastor. Last week, I was asked to head our youth department. I am also involved in missions and this Sunday we are having our missions Sunday .I have voluntered to provide clips and write ups of misionaries who are laboring especially to unreached people groups. Our church had sent missions to some missionaries in Asia, thanks to your class. I shared about missions with our COG excutives, sure enough, you were correct. I met with oppositions - probably ignorance about missions. Then I shared with the pastors in our church and their hearts were already opened. Every 2nd Sunday of the month, we have a mission Sunday. Please pray for us. I am going to put Indonesia as one of my presentations for this Sunday.
