Leadership Experience
leading a church or organization
About Me:
I am the 6th in a family of 10 children. My parents were both teachers and so it is no wonder that I ended up being an educator myself. I just recently resigned from being the EVP and chief operating officer of Asian Center for Missions a ministry where I served God the last 8 years. I am currently on a year long sabbatical in obedience to the Lord and is newly married to Todd Cook. Completed my doctoral studies and actually graduated last May 5, 2007 from Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA. Prior to working with ACM I served as a missionary church planter/teacher in Chennai. India from 1995 to 2000.

It is finished

It is finished my Jesus cried
It is finished my Jesus died
It is finished my sins crucified
It is finished I have been reconciled
It is finished I have been justified
It is finished in the heavenly places I have been seated with Christ.
It is finished I will overcome
It is finished I will one day be glorified

How much the Lord loves you

I love you I fearfully and wonderfully knit you in your mother’s womb.
I love you I have watched and protected you through your childhood.
I love you, I have provided for you long before you were aware of my presence.
I love you, I have given you the ability to learn and the ability to gain knowledge.
I love you, I have caused you to overcome amidst great adversity
I love you, I have stayed with you through the years
I love you, I endured much pain so you may gain
I love you, I laid down my life… Continue

Where are you God?

“..Where is he who brought them through the sea, with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he who set his Holy Spirit among them, who sent his glorious arm of power
to be at Moses' right hand, who divided the waters before them, to gain for himself everlasting renown, who led them through the depths?
Isaiah 63: 11-13

As a missionary in India I remember asking: Where are you God? Where are you who promised to protect and deliver me? Why are you silent?
Isaiah 63 provides some insights that answer… Continue

God's Amazing Longing

Every human has this inner longing for something. For some it is fame, for others its power, for many just a deep longing to be happy and to be loved unconditionally.

I was reading Matthew 23:37-39 and saw this deep longing existent in God's heart. It reads "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. 38Look, your house is left to yo… Continue
