I love counseling. Coffee time with friends. I lead a small group.

A small church in the island of Syquijor

This church needs prayer covering. The people in this island believe in witchcraft, sorcery, the manananggal (winged, half-bodied vampires), the aswang (blood-sucking monsters disguised as humans), the kapre (tobacco-smoking giants) and the tikbalang (half-horse, half-human creatures). The pastora and her members are so poor but it does not stop them from praising God with a joyful noise and with music. Yes, they made their own instruments. It's not their music, it's not their instruments. It's their heart of worship. That's the most beautiful sound in all the earth.

They lift up the name of Jesus Christ. He is Lord. A tiny church like this experience true worship.....broken...spilled out...

Holy ~ qadosh

Qadosh literally means "to be set apart for a special purpose".

When we use the word holy, as in a holy person, we usually associate this with a righteous or pious person. If we use this concept when interpreting the word holy in the Hebrew Bible then we are misreading the text as this is not the meaning of the Hebrew word qadosh. The typhoon signal in Manila was up to signal #3. Frank was raging all over the Visayan region. Why am I stranded in Dumaguete? It is my mother's 86th birthday celebration and I can't make it to the party set on Saturday evening. I was glad that night that everyone of us (All the people who were there) was able to experience such FREEDOM!!! Just want you to know Tita Evelyn that I will be forever grateful and thankful to you because the Lord used you in such a mighty way that I did not expect something just like what I experienced during the Holy Spirit Night. Every word you've spoken came with power and it really pierced my heart.

The Holy Spirit kept on revealing to me things/situations/hurts/pains that has made me crippled all these years and the Holy Spirit changed it into a clean slate. I was removed from all of my soul ties and what's more interesting was that the Holy Spirit gave me a New Heart of Flesh... I was freed and all I felt that night was extreme happiness and joy.

I felt deep inside of me that the Lord's moving and He's shaking every part of my body. I was deeply moved by what you have shared to all of us and I'd like to share to you po how the Holy Spirit worked thru me that night. As I was listening to you po, I sensed that the enemy was whispering lies to me. I quickly brushed that thought away and I prayed with my eyes closed... My prayer goes something like this "Lord, I pray that I will get a multitude of blessings and the anointing of the Holy Spirit after this and I rebuke any works of the enemy and that I will NOT listen anymore to what the enemy's trying to say to me". My prayer's really powerful that I felt sudden gush of the Holy Spirit in me... Even before the Holy Spirit Night started, the Holy Spirit was already in the place and He's on a look out for people who's willing to accept His invitation to be in their lives.
