My father is a pastor, my mother is a teacher, and I am a photographer - see the connection? =)
My Dad pastors a church here in Laguna, Philippines and I lead its young yet talented Media Team. I love to teach and share my knowledge in photography and I consider it as my personal mission and ministry to share what the Lord has given me, hence, I conduct photography workshops for different churches, ministries and mission groups helping them on how to take better pictures and promote the craft of photography as well.
Professionally, I have been a freelance photographer since 2000, doing photo projects in weddings, events, advertising, fashion and corporate projects. I have also received sevaral awards in photography, and was the president of a camera club called Cameras In Action Photographers Club (CIA) for 3 years. Since 2006, I have been the Global Moderator of the Philippine Photographers Foundation Inc. (FPPF), the Philippines' largest and oldest photography foundation and its the largest umbrella organization of camera clubs in the country.
This year marks my 8th year in professional photography, recently I opened my studio (at last!) here in Calamba City. In addition to that, I have established a new camera club based here in South Manila called Southern Exposure Photography Club (South-X) which caters to photographers based in the south Manila area in need of a camera club to join in to.
