About Me:
Fierce.

They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions... but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience. ~Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird, Chapter 11, spoken by the character Atticus

I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do. ~Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird, Chapter 11, spoken by the character Atticus

"The secret is, I trust people much too easily. When someone asks for my attention, I more than happily plunge into their gaze, smile too much and listen too much. I create a false image of someone else on my own, believe their sincerity with my whole heart. Therefore I am my own downfall, and there is not one person to blame besides myself."-Unknown

"Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them - if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry." ~J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye, Chapter 24, spoken by the character Mr. Antolini

I always believed it was the things you don't choose that makes you who you are. Your city, your neighborhood, your family. People here take pride in these things, like it was something they'd accomplished. The bodies around their souls, the cities wrapped around those. I lived on this block my whole life; most of these people have. When your job is to find people who are missing, it helps to know where they started. I find the people who started in the cracks and then fell through. This city can be hard. When I was young, I asked my priest how you could get to heaven and still protect yourself from all the evil in the world. He told me what God said to His children. "You are sheep among wolves. Be wise as serpents, yet innocent as doves."-Gone Baby Gone

The word Absurd is defined in the dictionary as
1: ridiculously unreasonable, unsound, or incongruous

2: having no rational or orderly relationship to human life : meaningless, also : lacking order or value

if you look at the picture at the top of this article, you'll see quite well how one of the realities that brings love its unique ability to change the course of people's lives, it denotes a quality of unselfishness, of letting go of the logical, and going with sheer gut instinct.

the person that you will choose to love will have their moments, both the exceptionally brilliant and the astoundingly dumb, the object of this seemingly insidious exercise is quite simple really, to learn to endure without flinching and to learn to love without judging, its an impossible task to a logical heart, but something quite common to the vassals of this compelling force.

Christianity has its versions, albeit absurd in the world's yardstick of wisdom, but you see, ambitious things possess that audacity, to learn a certain measure in order to break it, read Romans 12 , I Corinthians 13 and John 17, it might deliver you to a more conscious element o being so many of us seem to miss at this certain age in time.

The point simply is this you cannot expect anything compelling to be conventional, if that was the way reality exists, there would be no innovations and certainly no progress, no, unfortunately, life does not play out that way, you are taught from frustrations to triumphs that life will take you to one heck of a ride and its pretty tricky, woe! to the person seemingly set in his ways, so sheepishly content in ignorant bliss.

ECCLESIASTES 9:11
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

One day you will be given a chance, to choose whether you will love in all moments of absurdity, to follow a conviction so real that it defies human comprehension, your Creator will call you, question is, will you wait for the greatest logical person to come by and deduce His reality or will you simply allow yourself to believe that you are indeed a pertinent though finite being needful of something well beyond anything human intellect nor earthly resource can fathom, yet capable of recognizing Christ when He is already there right in front of you?

Matanong nga kita, mas mautak ka ba kay Solomon?the only king that was given by the Lord the capacity to know the vast realities of this world only to conclude that all is vanity?malamang hindi, because he was an exceptional man that the Lord had to show a very distinct object lesson from.

You and I will never be smart enough to figure it all out, once you've decided not to be a coward and admit that your licked even before you begin, now we must start the painful reeducation of a limited mental capacity in order to fully acknowledge grace in every moment of living, knowing that you can really say "I LOVE YOU, IN ALL MOMENTS OF OUR ABSURDITY"
